Dates for this year’s Monsoon Session of the Parliament have been announced; it will commence from 20th of July.
The schedule for both the Houses will last till 13th of August, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said stating that President Droupadi Murmu has approved the proposal of the Government to convene the Monsoon Session of Parliament from 20th July.
In a social media post Rijiju said, the session will focus on meaningful debate, discussion and decisions on issues of national importance.
During this session, both the Houses are expected to sit fort as many as 19 meetings.
