The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday the 23rd June 2026 met the National Security Advisors (NSA) from BRICS countries in the National Capital.
Modi said BRICS has a vital role in deepening security cooperation and addressing shared challenges, from terrorism and cyber security to emerging technologies.
The NSAs and senior security officials of BRICS countries, comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa were in New Delhi for the all-important of the grouping which is presently headed by India.
In a twitter message posted on the social media Modi said India will seek to advance practical cooperation among the BRICS nations and support the priorities of the Global South and contribute to a safer, more secure and inclusive world.
