India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday the 10th of June 2026v has forecast heatwave conditions over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttar Pradesh and West Rajasthan.
Daytime temperature is expected to hover above 42 degrees Celsius.
Elsewhere in the country, hot and Humid weather conditions are expected during the day at places over Konkan and Goa and Odisha.
Meanwhile, heavy rainfall conditions are expected over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Coastal Karnataka and Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim. Parts of Bihar, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan, Goa, Tamil Nadu Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana and north-east India are also likely to witness rainfall during the next 2-3 days.
