Bilateral talks are underway between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of Seychelles Patrick Herminie in Victoria, the capital city of the archipelago.
Both leaders will review the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Earlier, he was given a Guard of Honour at the State House with President Herminie also present.
Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address the National Assembly of Seychelles and interact with members of the Indian diaspora.
Later, he will attend the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the National Day of Seychelles as the Guest of Honour.
A contingent of the Indian defence forces, along with two Indian Navy ships, will also take part in the celebrations.
Prime Minister is on a three-day state visit to Seychelle. On Sundey the 28th of June 2026, it was his day-two of the state visit.
This visit reaffirms the strong and enduring friendship between India and Seychelles and strengthens the shared commitment of both nations to enhance bilateral ties across all sectors.
