Dutch says ‘no’ to tourists from Russia

News from Netherlands says that it will support the EU-wide tourist visa ban for Russians, Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra said on Tuesday the 30^th of August 2022.

Digital media is quoting Dutch wire service RTL Nieuws that lawmaker will support “stopping issuance of tourist visas,” from Russia while adopting a similar European ban.

However Dutch deputy prime minister Wopke Hoekstra is reported to have stated that the Netherlands believes the ban should not apply to other types of visas, including student, humanitarian and family visas.
