On Saturday the 28th of May 2022, Russia claimed to have again fired with success the world’s most talked about invincible missile known as Tsirkon.
A Russian defence ministry stated that Russian frigate Admiral Gorshkov successfully test-fired a Tsirkon hypersonic cruise missile from the Barents Sea.
The missile is claimed to have hit a naval target about 1,000 km away in the White Sea and the flight of the projectile corresponded to the designed parameters, it added.
This missile can attain height of up to 92,000 ft or 28 kms into the sky and has been tested many times flying speed at Mach 8 or eight times than speed of the sound.
The Tsirkon missile has been test-fired several times from the Admiral Gorshkov frigate and a nuclear-powered submarine.
