This episode on Border Security Force (BSF) was first broadcast on air in the erstwhile Rajya Sabha Television (RSTV) on 20 December 2014 anchored and produced by Vineet Dikshit.
RSTV has now merged with the erstwhile Lok Sabha TV (LSTV) and is now known as Sansad TV, the official television channel of the Parliament of India.
It was the very first episode of that celebrated and much appreciated National Security series on RSTV. Almost ten years down the memory lane, the reportage on BSF in the Eastern Theater remains topical as ever specially of whatever had happened in Bangladesh since 5th of August 2024.
The crew that recorded this particular episode traveled in deep inside Tripura including the remote corner in Chittagong Hill Tracks – and also at an very interesting location where river when change its tracks altering Indo-Bangladesh border and in turn throws up unbelievable questions with regard to alleged ‘land grabbing’.
