The longest serving monarch in the British history, the Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 years in the afternoon on Thursday the 8th of September 2022 at the Balmoral Castle in the Scotland.
The newly appointed prime minister of England, Liz Truss in her condolence message on passing away of the Queen referred Prince Charles as the new British Monarch, the King Charles III.
Immediately after the announcement the death of the QE II, the union jack was lowered at the half mast at the Buckingham Palace in London.
