Come Wednesday, the government hiked price of domestic cooking cylinder by Rs 50.

This came into with immediate effect i.e. from 6th of July 2022.

According to official notification issued by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a non-subsidised 14.2 kg cylinder will cost Rs 1,0, 53 in Delhi, Rs 1079 in Kolkata, Rs 1052 in Mumbai and Rs 1068 in Chennai.

Earlier, the prices were increased on May 19, May 7 and March 22, 2022.

However, prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders were decreased by Rs 8.50 per cylinder, a notification of the state-owned oil marketing companies.

Now a 19 kg cylinder will cost Rs 2012.50 in Delhi, Rs 2132 in Kolkata, Rs 1972.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2177 in Chennai.

This is the second revision of prices of 19kg cylinders this month.

However, prices of diesel and petrol have remained changed.
