Even as Delhi Government shuts down all schools, collages and cinema halls till March 31, India takes drastic steps to quarantine itself in an attempt to arrests spread of coronavirus.

India has now halted all incoming tourists traffic till 15th April, 2020 in an desperate attempt to contain spread of Coronavirus now declared as a pandemic situation by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

United States also took strong measures late on Wednesday night by isolating itself from Europe.

The Government of India stated through External Affairs Minister (EAM) on Thursday, 11-March-2020 in Lok Sabha that all positive cases that have been reported till in India date are those who had travel history from overseas.

No individual in-breeded Coronavirus within India – as all have been “imported” so to say from abroad.

Travel restrictions imposed on tourists will held contain spread of virus, EAM added.
