Monday the 21st of March 2022 was an important day between India and Australia.

Prime Ministers from both countries held an important virtual meet. And key announcements were made including that to henceforth hold an annual in-person summit meeting between the two.

In all five announcements were made including four agreements were reached at between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian PM Scott Morrison.

It was agreed to the Establishment of Annual Summit between India and Australia Announcement of Establishment of the General Rawat India-Australia Young Defence Officers’ Exchange Programme.

Announcement of Return of artifacts by Government of Australia was also made.

Announcement of Similar Tax benefits for investments by Australia’s sovereign and pension funds in India as in Australia has also being made.
