With the renewed spell of missile attacks and retaliatory fire exchanged between Iran and the rest of Arab world, India has once urged for a diplomatic solution rather than a military one.

Th Ministry of Expernal Affairs IMEA) in a statement released on Monday stated that India deeply regrets the renewed attacks in West Asia. These developments are a matter of utmost concern to the international community. This conflict has now lasted over 100 days and has already caused immense human suffering. It has also had a debilitating impact on the global economy and energy supplies”.

“We call on all parties to immediately de-escalate tensions, ensure that civilians are not harmed and conclude ongoing negotiations for a diplomatic solution so that peace and stability can return to the region”, it added.

The MEA’s statement came after bitter exchange of missile fire was reported, aimed at each other by Iran and Israel.

Monday marked the 100th day conflict between Israel and US on one side, and Iran on the other side of fence ending hope of a lasting peace in the region.

The Indian Embassy in Tehran issued a statement calling all Indians in Iran to make an immediate exit.
