Donald Trump triumphs back as the President of the USA after upsetting Democratic party candidate Kamala Harris, the current vice president of the America.
On Wednesday the 6th of November 2024, Donald Trump declared victory in the US presidential elections.
When Trump made his winner’s speech counting was still taking place at many centers. The Democratic party’s headquarters wore a deserted look as their supporters had gone home.
Trump took to the stage at his campaign’s watch party in West Palm Beach, Florida, amid huge cheers from his party supporters.
“We’re going to help our country heal,” Trump said, adding that he would fix the borders, which has been his a key part of his poll campaign all along.
Many world leaders including the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Donald Trump.
In a post on X, the Modi said that they will work together for the betterment of their people and to promote global peace, stability and prosperity.
“Heartiest congratulations my friend @realDonaldTrump on your historic election victory. As you build on the successes of your previous term, I look forward to renewing our collaboration to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership.

Republican presidential candidate Trump is set to take over as the 47th president of the United States.
Trump appeared on stage along with his wife Melania Trump, running mate JD Vance, and campaign staff.
Trump described it as a “political victory” and thanked the crowd for electing him as their 47th president, as well as their 45th, as the crowd chanted “USA, USA, USA”.
Trump mentioned the assassination attempt on him in July, when he survived after a bullet grazed his ear at a campaign rally.
He said “God saved his life for a reason”.
Trump said he’ll bring “every ounce of spirit and fight” to the White House, and that being president is the “most important job in the world”. He added that he’ll run his government on the motto: “Promises made, promises kept.”
