In a unique event that took place at Port Blair, Andaman Islands, three naval warships were decommissioned in a single day. It was an emotional event wherein National Flag was lowered for the last time at the decks of INS Cheetah, Guldar and Kumbhir.
On 12th of January earlier this week, at Port Blair Naval Base in Andaman Islands, three naval warships decommissioned in one-go.
Indian Naval Warships – INS Cheetah, Guldar & Kumbhir will not sail anymore
The National Flag, the Naval Ensign and Decommissioning Pennants of the three ships were lowered for the last time, at sunset. All three warships had served the Indian Navy for 40 years.
