The naïve foreign minister of Pakistan, Mr Bilawal Bhutto was admonished by MEA’s spokesperson on Saturday the 8th of October 2022 while reacting to media reports on his misplaced comments on Jammu & Kashmir.

Bhutto had held a joint press conference with German foreign minister when he commented on the J&K affairs.

In a statement issued by Arindam Bagchi on Saturday, the MEA’s spokesperson stated  that “when states do not recognise such dangers (of terrorism), either because of self-interest or indifference, they undermine the cause of peace, not promote it. They also do grave injustice to the victims of terrorism,”

Bagchi was reacting in response to media queries after Bilawal Bhutto Zardari allegedly raised the Kashmir issue and alleged human rights violation in the valley, during a joint press conference with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock

“All serious and conscientious members of the global community have a role and responsibility to call out international terrorism, especially of a cross-border nature,” Arindam Bagchi said.

“The Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has borne the brunt of such a terrorist campaign for decades. This continues till now. Foreign nationals have been victims there, as also in other parts of India. The UN Security Council and FATF are still pursuing Pakistan-based terrorists involved in the horrific 26/11 attacks,” Bagchi added.
