The latest Situation Report issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on 04 April 2020 says that ‘COVID19 virus has now claimed over 55,000 lives and affected over 1 million across the globe.

With almost half of the world’s population under the lockdown or in a curfew like situation including that of India where 1.3 billion people are staying back locked-up in their homes, the WHO has asked governments to immediately ease restrictions in order to lessen the economic hardships.

Strangely it may seems, the WHO in all its Situation Reports till date is yet to classify any country including that of China, as Community Stage Transmission category of pandemic CoronaVirus.

According to WHO the COVID 19 virus has spread either under category defined as ‘local transmission’  or grouped as ‘imported cases’.

Not even a single country till date, according to WHO had moved into a dreaded stage of ‘community transmission’ when virus goes out of spin.
