Soon India will sign major oil and natural gas drilling contracts with Guyana and Suriname.
This breaking news came-in during the 17th edition of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas held at Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
At a special media briefing by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Saurabh Kumar, Secretary-East informed reporters that both Guyana and Suriname had expressed desire to work with Indian PSUs for oil and natural gas works in their countries.
The MEA Secretary further added that skill development is something that the President of Guyana is very keen on and he wants Indian manpower to be in that country and contribute to the development of Guyana,
