Prime Mininister Narendra Modi spoke to Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel on Wednesday the 11 of January 2023 and invited him to visit India at an early date.
Mr Netanjahu has been recently re-installed as Israel’s PM for the sixth time after general elections there.
According to a official release issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the two leaders during the telephonic conversation expressed satisfaction at the rapid progress in the India-Israel strategic partnership in recent years and agreed on the potential for further strengthening strategic cooperation in a variety of areas.
It may be recalled that Narendra Modi had earlier on 29th of December 2022 had congratulated Netanyahu, through a tweet, on being sworn in as the prime minister of Israel.
and said he looks forward to working to strengthen the strategic partnership.
