Israel made major announcements at the on-going DefExpo 2022 with opening of an exclusive Indian subsidiary floated by Israel Aerospace Industries (ASI).
This new venture is known as Aerospace Services India (ASI) and its India partner is DRDO.
Making this announcement at the DefExpo 2022 at Gandhinagar on 19th of October 2022 was Israel’s Ambassador to India, Naor Gilon.
Speaking exclusively to NEWSGATE after making the formal announcement, ambassador Naor Gilon stated that “this new partnership of Israel with Indian defence establishment is further going to strengthen close bonds that both the countries share in strategic affairs”.
The new head of Aerospace Services India is Mr Boaz Levy, a former defence attaché of Israel posted in New Delhi.
He informed NewGate that “Aerospace Services India is gpoing to work in close coordination with Indian defence PSUs while leveraging top technology available’’.
Mr Levy added that this new Indo-Israel partnership is going to “establish state of the art facilities to provide product life cycle support services for the air-defense systems in India. The new facilities will provide advanced and timely support to the Indian Defense Forces, including the Indian Air Force, Navy and Army.”
The new Indo-Israeli company is located in the capital New Delhi.
