CoronaVirus pandemic has wholesomely exposed the most lethal weapon mankind could face, a real form bio-terrorism. And everyone has been caught off-guard.

This in nutshell is what Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres stated earlier today on 10 April 2020  in New York, at the UN Headquarters.

António Guterres pointed observations came-up during his speech at a special meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)  convened on the COVID-19 pandemic.

The UNSC meeting continued till early hours into the Friday morning according to IST.

The UN’s SG gave an eight pointer warning and risks that are threatening the world community including that of a “how terrorists are taking advantage of pandemic”.

His eye opener warning came on reality of bio-terrorism.

He said COVID19 has shown the “weaknesses and lack of preparedness exposed by this pandemic (and) provide a window onto how a bio-terrorist attack might unfold and may increase its risks”.
