Indian Navy is all ready to induct the fifth batch of its Agniveers on Friday the 7th of March 2025 at its training centre INS Chilka, Odisha.

In all there will be 2972 agniveers including women agniveers at the scheduled Passing-Out-Parade (POP) to be held on Friday at INS Chilka.

As a mandatory requirement all fresh inductees in the Agniveer scheme have to undergo a tough 16 week long training.

The Flag Officer Commanding -in- Chief, Southern Naval Command will be present at the 5th POP of Navy’s Agniveers

For the families and friends of the new Agniveers, the event will no doubt be a momentous one. Besides this, high achiever veterans and eminent sports personalities will also be present, inspiring the Agniveers with their remarkable journey.

FOC-in-C, SNC will also attend the valedictory function and present awards/ trophies to various trainees/ Division and unveil the bilingual trainees’ magazine ‘Ankur’.

The POP not only signifies the successful completion of 16 weeks of ab initio Naval training but also their voyage in the Combat-ready, Credible, Cohesive and Future-ready Indian Navy.
