News emanating from Tihar Jail in Delhi says that on Tuesday the 31st of May 2022 jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has been taken into custody and interrogated by Delhi Police Special Cell in connection with murder of singer-turned-politician Congress leader Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moose Wala.

Various newspaper websites are quoting unnamed sources some other gangsters lodged inside jails will be questioned in the coming days for their alleged involvement in broad daylight murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.

According to sources, gangster Shahrukh, who is in Tihar jail, was questioned by the Delhi Police. Shahrukh was arrested a couple of months back by the DP’s Special Cell from Punjab.

On Sunday, popular singer from Punjab and Congress politician Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unknown assailants near Jawahar Ke village.

In a joint operation, Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) and Punjab STF on Monday detained six persons from Uttarakhand for allegedly providing support to the assailants.

Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, a close aide of gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi, in a post on social media site claimed responsibility for the murder of the popular singer.
