The Budget session of Parliament has been announced.
It will start on 31st of January 2025 and will last up to 4th of April 2025.
There will be a recess between 14th February to 10th of March for the scheduling of Standing Committee meeting of different departments to discuss the Budget proposal in a much detailed manner than which is ordinarily debated on the floor of both the Houses.
The Budget Session will begin with the address by President Droupadi Murmu to both the Houses of Parliament on 31st January.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget on First of February. Before that the treasury benches will present the Economic Survey of India.
