India has issued a strongly worded statement against allegations of Pakistan on Baluchistan train hijack incident.
“They are baseless”, India said in a official statement issued on Friday the 14th of March 2025 over the Jaffar train attack and slammed Islamabad saying the whole world knows where the global epicentre of terrorism lies.
The Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Randhir Jaiswal said: “We strongly reject the baseless allegations made by Pakistan.
“The whole world knows where the epicenter of global terrorism lies.
“Pakistan should look inwards instead of pointing fingers and shifting the blame for its own internal problems and failures on to others.”
The trigger point is that comment made by Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while chairing a meeting on the Balochistan situation when he criticised what he called the “enemy’s propaganda” for the Jaffar train hijack, in which BLA separatists took over the passenger train with over 400 people in it.
The Pak PM without naming India had said: “It is disappointing how our eastern neighbour promoted the narrative of Pakistan’s adversaries.”
The Pakistan PM, who visited Quetta along with members of his cabinet, told a press conference that 339 passengers had been rescued, while 33 terrorists were killed in the rescue operation.
