The visiting Jamaican prime minister Andrew Holness had brought with him a very special memento for Narendra Modi.
On Tuesday when he met Modi, as a special gesture Andrew Holness presented him his photo taken during his visit to Montego Bay, Jamaica in 1999.
Modi had travelled to Jamaica during former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s visit for the G-15 meeting.
In the photo, Narendra Modi is seen interacting with Indian diaspora members in Jamaica who had hosted him.
Modi presented a cricket bat signed by the Indian cricket team to the PM of Jamaica.
The Jamaica PM also gifted a cricket bat signed by Chris Gayle to Modi.
Holeness is on a state visit to India till 3rd October.
