Various media reports emanating form Ukraine suggests that martial law might be extended in that country as there is no sign of end to the on-going war with Russia which continues unabated.
News agency UNI is reporting that Ukraine can extend martial law and mobilization for another 90 days until February 20, 2023, Ukrainian lawmaker Yaroslav Zheleznyak said on Tuesday the 8th of November 2022.
Earlier in the day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted to the parliament bills on extending mobilization and martial law in the country.
“Martial law and general mobilization will be extended again at the next plenary meeting. The parliament has already registered the relevant documents from the president. With a high probability, the extension will be again for 90 days, that is, until February 20, 2023,” Zheleznyak said on Telegram.
On August 15, the Ukrainian parliament extended mobilization and martial law in the country until November 21.
