At the start of this year’s Malabar Exercise between the navies from India, US, Australia and Japan, the chief of naval staff Admiral Hari Kumar had a busy day at Yokosuka, Japan, on Saturday the 5th of November when he met his counterparts from the participating countries.

Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) is on an official visit to Japan from 05 to 09 Nov 22, where he will witness the International Fleet Review (IFR) conducted by the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) at Yokosuka on 06 Nov 22 to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of its formation

This year India had send two ships, INS Shivalik and INS Kamorta to Yokosuka, Japan to participate in the IFR and Exercise MALABAR-2022.

Adm R Hari Kumar would also be interacting with his counterparts and other Heads of Delegations from close to 30 countries participating in the IFR, WPNS and MALABAR.

The 2022 is the 30th edition of Fleet Review at the Malabar Exercise which was first held in the year 1992.
