The much awaited vaccination to shoot-out corona virus from the face of the earth has finally begun.
Early on Tuesday morning i.e. 08-December-2020, a 90-year-old grandmother in England from Coventry area became the first person in the world to receive the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
Margaret Keenan, who turns 91 next week, received the vaccine shot at 6.31 am local time.
UK’s National Health Service (NHS) has launched its biggest-ever vaccination campaign in full public glare.
Last weekend Russian authorities had also reported that they had launched their own large-scale vaccination with Sputnik V medication.
The NHS has become the first health service in the world to begin rolling out Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine. Vaccine shots will be administered at dozens of hospital across the UK and is being dubbed as “V-Day” by the British Health Secretary Matt Hancock.
